Drive by appeal – trim the hedges, keep lawns mowed, weed and put pots of plants by the front door.   Keep your windows clean inside and out – if it’s appealling from the outside viewers will be more interested in coming inside.

Inside – Clean, clean and clean again!  A fresh smelling house is always appealing.  Keep the pets out!

De-cluttering – Box it up and store it at a friends house.

Decor – finish off any DIY jobs and repaint in neutral colours if possible.

Add touches of vibrant colour – an inexpensive colourful picture or a vase of flowers can really set off a room.  Don’t have your rooms looking too bland.
