Neutralise, de-personalise and minimalise - keep it simple - show off the space in your home

Top tips:

Drive by appeal - trim the hedges, keep lawns mowed, weed and put pots of plants by the front door. If its appealling from the outside viewers will be more interested in coming inside.

Keep the windows clean inside and out - it lets in more light and sparkly windows add to the 'Drive by appeal'

Inside - Clean Clean and clean again! A fresh smelling house is always appealing. Keep the dogs out!

De-clutter - Box it up and store it at a friend’s house.

Decor - finish off any DIY jobs and repaint in neutral colours if possible.

Add touches of vibrant colour - a inexpensive colourful picture or a vase of flowers can really set off a room.
