Mr and Mrs R are an elderley couple with
no family. They were also 'hoarders' on a large
scale.
First step - organise a removal company
quote. Done on day 1
De-clutter - not much point taking items
that were not needed in the new flat and not efficient to put
them into storage for sorting later. Harsh
decisions. Mr R chuckled ' I knew this day would come
but didn't know where to start!' 'My wife has been ill
for many years and it is all beyond me.' No
worries. 2 large skips were ordered and the angels began
serious and harsh de-cluttering, along with a very grateful Mr
and Mrs R. 2 day process but totally
necessary.
Removal day arrived and all is ready to
go. 2 angels
on hand for any last minute clearing and packing. All
sorted.
Reports came back from another customer
that Mr R was 'skipping around the synagogue singing the
praises of the angels'
Busy top
Manchester Solicitor has fire in her home and has to move house - quickly, all sorted by the
angels
Ms B unfortunately suffered an electrical fire at her
home. As a top Manchester solicitor she did not have
time to remove her family to a rented house so the angels were
called in. Initially to sort out the soot damaged
area. (we are are registered with IICRC )
What we actually did was:
-
Organise the removal company
-
Took an extensive range of photographs inside the home
(including inside kitchen cupboards)
-
Organised the removal and dry cleaning of silk
curtains
-
Organised professionals to cover/remove expensive
carpets before building work commenced
-
Organised a professional to install electrical media
equipment and computers
-
Assisted with the packing and wrapping of personal
items
-
Cleaned the rented house and organised other
cleaning professionals for carpets, windows and
oven
-
Unpacked all the items brought by the removal
company
-
Set out the new home for the family incuding making the
beds and placing the towels!
-
The grill pan was missing and this was ordered and
delivered within a few days!
6 months later we did the whole thing in
reverse!
which is why we took all the photographs!
and obviously cleaned both houses and handed the
keys back to the letting agent!
positively
angelic!
Macclesfield terrace sells in 1 week, in
January, following angels visit!
A Macclesfield family called us in. Mum had not
been too well and the professional couple with a demanding 3
year old needed to move to a larger house. Their house
had been on the market for months. They had had plenty
of viewers but no one had placed an offer. It was easy
to see why!
Our assessment:
-
Far too much clutter
-
Rooms not clearly defined
-
Excess of furniture which had been
inherited
-
Hall, stairs and landing needed a coat of
paint
-
.... and a sparkle clean to
finish!
Action taken:
-
Roy Trevors
were called in to remove excess furniture to
storage
-
Rooms were given a 'purpose' e.g., the living
room and dining room furniture, which had all
previously been in the back room, were set out as they
should once the excess furniture had been
removed.
-
A serious declutter throughout revealed a very useful
attic bedroom
-
Sparkle clean through
-
Painting completed
Result. The house sold in one
week in January!
